The Arbitration Center of the NCE RK “Atameken” uses the TrustMe platform for electronic document management. Arbitration definitions, solutions, and other arbitration documents can now be signed remotely in electronic format. This allows arbitrators and employees of the Arbitration Center to sign documents directly from their devices, without the need to print or submit them in paper form.
The signing process consists of three steps:
1. Uploading the document – the completed document is uploaded to the platform, or the required template is selected.
2. Sending for signature – the participant receives a signing request using an SMS code or an electronic digital signature (EDS).
3. Signing – the participant completes identification and signs the document electronically.
When a document is signed, information about actions taken with the document is recorded in the electronic system, including the date and time, IP address, device used, and signing history.
Documents can be signed and verified using several methods:
EDS – an electronic digital signature recognized by the state and having the same legal force as a handwritten signature.
SMS code – a simple and fast way to verify the signatory’s identity and consent to sign the document.
Face ID – biometric identification of the signatory, providing an additional level of identity verification and reducing the risk of impersonation.
Thus, arbitration documents signed electronically have the same legal force as documents executed in paper form. The electronic format helps reduce document processing time, simplify document exchange, and ensure secure storage.
The digital format makes the Arbitration Center’s document management process faster, more convenient, and more secure for all participants in arbitration proceedings.
