ADVANTAGES OF ARBITRATION
The key requirement for arbitrators chosen by the disputing parties is their independence and impartiality. Arbitrators are highly qualified specialists with extensive experience in various fields.
Arbitration proceedings are conducted within an average of 2-3 months.
Arbitration proceedings are held in a closed session. Without the consent of the parties, information about the disputes under consideration is not disclosed and is not published in the media.
Arbitration proceedings are conducted in accordance with the agreement of the disputing parties. In the absence of such an agreement, the Arbitration Center's Regulations apply. The dispute is resolved by the arbitration panel, taking into account the preferences of the parties to ensure a convenient and swift resolution.
An arbitration decision is not subject to substantive review in any instance, including in court. If a party refuses to voluntarily comply, the arbitration decision is enforced through judicial procedures.
The enforcement of arbitration decisions is ensured in 172 countries based on the 1958 New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.

The annulment of an arbitration decision in a state court is possible only on limited procedural grounds. The quality of case consideration is ensured by the high professionalism of arbitrators and the staff of the Arbitration Center Secretariat.
The "Atameken" Arbitration Center's register of arbitrators includes both domestic and foreign specialists. However, the disputing parties may appoint any person (who meets legal requirements) as an arbitrator, even if they are not listed in the register.
Arbitration fees are differentiated and decrease proportionally as the claim amount increases, reaching as low as 0.5%.
No comment or request from the parties goes unanswered at the Arbitration Center. During case preparation and dispute resolution, the opinions of the parties are always taken into account, including timeframes, the number of hearings, interim measures, and the procedure for evidence examination.
The Arbitration Center has representatives in all regions of Kazakhstan. Proceedings can be conducted in any regional center of Kazakhstan, as well as online via videoconferencing.
The Arbitration Center monitors the enforcement of arbitration decisions. Upon request, it provides consultations on the enforcement procedure both in Kazakhstan and abroad.
