Appointed as arbitrator by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (Sweden) and the “Atameken” Arbitration Center (Kazakhstan). Acted as arbitrator in supply contract disputes in ad hoc commercial arbitration in Geneva (Switzerland) under the UNCITRAL rules. Acted as expert on complex issues of Kazakhstani law in investment arbitration (ICSID) and in the courts of England and the USA.
Acted as counsel in foreign commercial arbitrations in Stockholm (a construction dispute under a FIDIC road reconstruction contract, under the SCC rules) and London (a professional liability dispute of a consultant, under the UNCITRAL rules, administered by the LCIA).
