Atameken NCE, the AIFC Court, and the International Arbitration Centre Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

On 2 July 2026, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Court of the Astana International Financial Centre, and the International Arbitration Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document is aimed at developing professional cooperation, exchanging experience, upskilling specialists, and promoting modern mechanisms for resolving commercial disputes.
The signing of the Memorandum marks an important step in strengthening interaction between national and international institutions working to improve the legal environment for business and enhance Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness.
Gulnara Bizhanova, Member of the Management Board – Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Atameken NCE, noted that protecting entrepreneurs' rights and developing a favourable legal environment remain key areas of the Chamber's activity. The work of the Atameken NCE Arbitration Centre, operating since 2014, is of particular importance.
The parties plan to cooperate in holding educational events, seminars, and conferences, as well as to support professional initiatives and publications.
Christopher Campbell-Holt OBE, Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Centre, emphasised that Kazakhstan is strengthening its position as a reliable venue for protecting investors' rights and resolving commercial disputes.
The cooperation will contribute to the adoption of best international practices, the development of expert capacity, and the expansion of out-of-court commercial dispute resolution options.
